A different kind of weather station

 Sky Weather 1 is owned and operated by professional skywarn members.

We are the eyes and ears for the NWS. We take ground level reports and send them to the National Weather Service so they can report it to you, the community so you can prepare for severe weather.

See, all weather radar is tracking weather above the clouds, they can tell you if there's rain coming and the amount and the temperature in the general area but what they can't tell you is what it looks like once it hits ground. That's where Skywarn members and stations come into play. We communicate with the NWS and let them know ground level reports like tornadoes, Hail and size, Rain amounts, damages caused by large hail, actually any severe weather event.

Skyweather1 is located in Gresham Oregon and focus our weather in that area.
